Position Sought in New Zealand
Austrian, European Union certified K – 4 teacher seeks position in New Zealand
Six years ago, I participated in a work-study programme in New Zealand. Since then it has been a dream to return to learn more about your culture and language. Now I feel I am in the position to offer you a service in return for a negotiable wage, room and board.
I hold two Bachelor degrees (elementary education and special needs education) and accreditation for Kindergarten, Day Care and Montessori. The past year I gained additional experience working as a Jena-Plan assistant teacher at the Teachers Training School (Praxisschule) of the Catholic Pedagogical College in Graz, Austria. In addition, I am currently enrolled in a program for ‘Integrative Gestalt Counseling’ in which I will receive certification in June 2010.
My first language is German and I am proficient in English. Second language acquisition was part of my teacher training and I have taught English to elementary school pupils as well as German to students that have other first languages.
I am full of energy and looking forward to returning to your country any time after September, 2010 to undertake a new challenge. Although I will also accept a temporary position, I am available for an extended stay. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
