We believe in children and their importance to society. We value the Montessori philosophy, the uniqueness of each child,  partnership with parents, relationships, community, humour, fun and professionalism.

Cambridge Montessori Preschool provides quality Montessori education in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, with well-resourced inside and outside environments at two sites in Cambridge.

We offer small classes and an excellent teacher:child ratio. Our mature, experienced and highly-qualified teachers are passionate about Montessori education and dedicated to ensuring that each child reaches his or her fullest potential.

Cambridge Montessori Preschool together with Cambridge Montessori Primary at Te Miro Primary School form the hub of a vibrant, supportive Montessori community. Social events include school trips and children’s concerts every term, parent evenings, family days, pet days, coffee mornings and an annual family party. Formal parent/teacher meetings are offered twice per year, and children’s portfolios are sent home every term.

Our Enrolment Procedure     
If you wish to receive an enrolment pack and/or to make an appointment to visit and observe please phone our centre managers; Helen Aston at Raleigh Street  p: 07 823 5138 and Theresa Kiff at Taylor Street p: 07 823 5949.

To secure a place on our waiting list, complete an enrolment form and send it to the school with the enrolment fee.  The fee is refunded if we are unable to offer your child a place in one of our classes.

We require children to attend a morning session with a parent before commencing independent attendance.

We recommend early enrolment 6-12 months before you want your child to start, as we have a considerable waiting-list.  The earlier you enroll, the higher up the list your child will be.
